Setting Live ‘Google AdWords Ads Traffic By Platforms’ Tasks
Google AdWords Keywords Data API is a legacy version that is replaced by Google Ads API. If you’re using DataForSEO Google AdWords API, you need to migrate to DataForSEO Google Ads API.
You can receive a set of stats for a group of keywords and get daily impressions, CPC and clicks estimation for the following platforms: desktop/mobile/tablet.
Note that Google AdWords API results might differ from the estimates you see in the Keyword Planner tool. Google provides account-specific results based on ad history, creatives already in the account, and other factors. Use high bid to level other factors.
Unlike the ‘Ads Traffic By Keywords’ method where you get information for each keyword in an array separately, using ‘Ad Traffic By Platforms’ you will get overall information for a group of keywords you send.
If your system requires delivering instant results, the Live method is the best solution for you. Unlike the Standard method, this method doesn’t require making separate POST and GET requests to the corresponding endpoints.
If you don’t need to receive data in real-time, you can use the the Standard method method of data retrieval. This method requires making separate POST and GET requests, but it’s more affordable. Using this method you can retrieve the results after our system collects them.
You can also check the update status of keywords search volume returned by Google API using the Get AdWords Status endpoint.
