Clickstream Data API: Overview

DataForSEO Clickstream Data API is based on clickstream data and provides a reliable and innovative alternative to search volume from Google Ads.

DataForSEO Clickstream Data API currently includes the following set of endpoints:

  • Global Search Volume provides clickstream-based search volume data for up to 1000 keywords with geographical distribution across all available locations;
  • DataForSEO Search Volume will provide you with search volume normalized with Bing search volume data or clickstream data for up to 1000 keywords in a single request;
  • Bulk Clickstream Search Volume is designed to provide clickstream-based search volume data for up to 1000 keywords in a single Live request with historical monthly values for up to 12 months;
  • Locations and Languages provides a list of available locations and languages.

 
How our algorithm works: our algorithm is based on refined clickstream data from reliable providers. Using special multipliers derived from multiple factors, we turn raw clickstream data into actionable keyword metrics. Methods

DataForSEO Clickstream Data API supports only the Live method of data retrieval. It doesn’t require making separate POST and GET requests to the corresponding endpoints and delivers instant results. You can send up to 2000 API calls per minute. Contact us if you would like to raise the limit.
