The Google Finance Ticker Search SERP API enables you to retrieve data on financial instruments, such as stocks, futures, and asset pairs available on Google Finance. With this API, you can specify the name of a company, market, or financial instrument and obtain a list of relevant financial instruments along with additional data, such as their value, growth trends, and identifiers. You can use a financial instrument’s identifier in the keyword field of the Google Finance Quote<\/a> endpoint to submit a request.<\/p>\n

The returned results are specific to the indicated keyword in the keyword<\/code> field, language, and location parameters. <\/p>\n

We emulate the set location and search engine with the highest accuracy so that the results you receive will match the actual search results for the specified parameters at the time of task setting. You can always check the returned results by accessing the check_url<\/code> in the Incognito mode to make sure the received data is entirely relevant. Note that user preferences, search history, and other personalized search factors are ignored by our system and thus would not be reflected in the returned SERP results.<\/p>\n

\u200cAlternatively, you can specify pingback_url<\/code> or postback_url<\/code> when setting a task, and we will notify you on completion of tasks or send the results to you respectively. Note that if you use the postback_url<\/code> field, you should also indicate the function that will be applied for data retrieval: advanced<\/code> or html<\/code>. <\/p>\n

If you use the Standard method without specifying pingback_url<\/code> or postback_url<\/code>, you can receive the list of id for all completed tasks using the ‘Tasks Ready’<\/strong> endpoint. It is designed to provide you with the list of completed tasks, which haven’t been collected yet. Then, you can retrieve the results using the \u2018Task GET\u2019<\/strong> endpoint.<\/p>\n
