Using Tripadvisor Search<\/a> you can obtain data on businesses listed on the Tripadvisor platform, including business name, rating, and url_path<\/code> parameter that you can use to obtain complete reviews data of the establishment.<\/p>\n

Using Tripadvisor Reviews<\/a> you can get reviews’ count, time of submission, rating details, reviews’ content, images published by the reviewer, reviewer profile information, and more.

The returned results are relevant to the specified keyword and the selected location (see the List of Locations<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> in order to receive a list of business entities listed on the Tripadvisor platform, the keyword you specify should indicate a business category (e.g., \"keyword\": \"pizza restaurant\"<\/code>) or a company name (\"keyword\": \"Margaritaville\"<\/code>).<\/p>\n

Tripadvisor Reviews<\/strong><\/p>\n

The returned results are specific to the url_path<\/code> or keyword you indicate.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> in order to receive Tripadvisor reviews, the url_path<\/code> you specify must identify an existing business entity on Tripadvisor.<\/p>\n

The url_path<\/code> parameter can be found on the Tripadvisor website as a part of the URL pointing to a specific business entity. For example, here is the URL of Margaritaville Resort Times Square on Tripadvisor:<\/p>\n

We emulate set parameters with the highest accuracy so that the results you receive will match the actual search results for the specified parameters at the time of task setting. You can always check the returned results by accessing the check_url<\/code> in the Incognito mode to make sure the received data is entirely relevant. Note that user preferences, search history, and other personalized search factors are ignored by our system and thus would not be reflected on the returned results.

Methods<\/h3>\n

 
\nAll Business Data API endpoints support the Standard method of data retrieval. It requires making separate POST and GET requests. Using this method, you can retrieve the results after our system collects them.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, you can specify pingback_url<\/code> or postback_url<\/code> when setting a task, and we will notify you on completion of tasks or send them to you respectively.<\/p>\n

If you do not specify pingback_url<\/code> or postback_url<\/code>, you can receive the list of id<\/code> for all completed tasks using the ‘Tasks Ready’ endpoint. It is designed to provide you with the list of completed tasks, which haven’t been collected yet. Then, you can retrieve the results using the \u2018Task GET\u2019<\/strong> endpoint.<\/p>\n

You can send up to 2000 POST and GET API calls per minute in total, with each POST call containing no more than 100 tasks. Contact us if you would like to raise the limit.

Priorities and cost<\/h3>\n

 
\nBusiness Data API has two different priorities that stand for the relative speed of task execution and have different prices:<\/p>\n

1. Normal priority;
\n2. High priority.<\/p>\n

The cost can be calculated on the Pricing<\/a> page. You can check your spending in your account dashboard<\/a> or by making a separate call to the User Data endpoint<\/a><\/p>\n
